Ghanaian musician and known sympathizer for the ruling NPP, A-Plus has reacted to the National Democratic Congress’s Press briefing presented by their National Communications Officer, Sammy Gyamfi.
Sammy Gyamfi accused and heaped all the blame from Menzgold’s mishaps on the ruling government, accusing them of having close ties to the CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah.
According to Sammy Gyamfi, the ruling government played a role in his escape from the country and must take the blame for every mess Menzgold has created, because Ghanaians are not interested in their inaccurate accounts.
The NPP have responded to these allegations by calling Sammy Gyamfi names. But in a post on Facebook, A-Plus has described as “shocking” the posture of the NPP leadership of resorting to name calling instead of addressing the issues highlighted by Sammy Gyamfi.
He also believed that the government should be blamed for NAM1’s escape for not doing anything to curb the situation when things started going bad in September, but only came in after some customers of Menzgold in Kumasi began rioting.
