Zylofon TV, one arm of Nana Appiah Mensah’s many businesses has resumed operations after a 2 week break. This was made public after the TV station posted on its Facebook wall that it was resuming operations on all its digital platforms.
The TV station had to shut down operations on the 30th of January 2019 after a court order was secured by EOCO to confiscate all property belonging to embattled businessman Nana Appiah Mensah.
This became necessary after one of his businesses, Menzgold, failed to pay dividends and investments of its customers.
So in a bid to pay back customers, the Government of Ghana took a decision to confiscate all his property, auction them and pay off monies owed to customers of the gold dealership company.
In a press release on the 29th of January 2019 and signed by their Communications Manager Samuel Atuobi Baah, Zylofon TV stated that it was suspending operations, but are expecting due process to be facilitated to restore sanity.
With this new development, it is not known whether Zylofon TV has been sold out or is still being handled by the same managers.
